Welcome to SEE!

Support for Excellence in Education (SEE) is a support group located in Morristown, NJ for parents and educators in the Morris School District who are interested in quality education for gifted, talented, and high-ability children.  SEE recognizes gifted, talented, and high-ability children as those who are able to perform above grade level, academically and/or artistically.

SEE meets regularly to share information and address the concerns of its members.

Our Goals are to:
  • Serve as a support group for parents, teachers, and community members of the Morris School District who are interested in the growth and development of highly able and gifted children.

  • Support the Morris School District's efforts in providing quality educational programs to all students in our schools, especially gifted and talented students.

  • Act as a resource for information on local educational approaches, activities, and opportunities as well as seek relevant information from other districts.

  • Maintain ties with regional, state, and national educational associations.

  • Promote projects that are supportive and enriching to its members, its families, and to students of the Morris School District

  • Give parents of high-ability children a voice in the Morris School District, with SEE board members providing feedback to officials in such important areas as curriculum design and policy creation.
